EAST Loch Lomond Community Trust (ELLCT) is encouraging residents in the area over the age of 16 to stand in the forthcoming community council elections.

Some areas, including Buchanan, did not return community councils following the 2018 elections – those areas are being given a second chance to gain representation by submitting nominations no later than Friday, 8 February at 4pm.

ELLCT is not a replacement for a community council – it aims to work withthe community council and the trustees feel it is vital that Buchanan as a wider community is represented – so please consider becoming a community councillor for our area and encourage others to do so too.
